Set your Hopper 3 DVR’s and get ready to record the biggest premier of the year! Episode 1 of Game of Thrones Season 6 airs on Sunday, April 24. This is the first season that the story will not be based off an existing novel from George R.R. Martin’s epic and woefully delayed, A Song of Fire and Ice. With readers and show fanatics both on the same page (pun intended), and John Snow’s untimely demise looming, the anticipation for season 6 is unmatched. Now’s a good time for new Dish customers to take advantage of our promotion on premium channels. Let’s recap. Here’s what we know so far…

Game of Thrones Season 6 Trailer 1

The first Game of Thrones teaser dropped on March 8. Fans frenzied.  I won’t detail everything, there’s a lot, but quick shots of Bran alongside the Night’s King, a very Jon Snow, and a zombie-fied Mountain are some of the best moments. Watch the clip below

GoT Season 6 Trailer 2

This second trailer is intense and ominous. I’m not sure April 24th can come fast enough. Watch the second trailer:
