Top Internet Service Providers in the United States by the Number of Subscribers

The United states was ranked 28th out of 211 developed countries for access to high-speed internet. The last large scale survey of Internet usage and access for the US occurred in 2012, but that data continues to be relevant. Ongoing progress reports, the latest of which was published in 2015, continue to show the need for high-speed internet services in many areas. Currently,  access to internet that meets the governments standard of 25Mbps download speed and 3Mbps upload speed, varies widely from state-to-state.
